Negar Shekarabi, Psy.D.
Dr. Shekarabi is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY#23356) with an MA and PsyD from Pepperdine University. She has 15 years of experience in higher education and healthcare mental health and workplace wellbeing. She served as the California Mental Health Services (CalMHSA) Mental Health Initiative Grant coordinator for UC Irvine from 2012-2016 helping the campus strategize, plan and implement key mental health programs and initiatives to promote mental health and suicide prevention, fight stigma, and train faculty and staff to recognize and respond to mental health. She was appointed as the inaugural Program Director for Faculty and Staff Support Services at UC Irvine in 2016 where she provides oversight and coordination for faculty and staff mental health resources and programs enterprise-wide. She completed a fellowship in Clinician Health and Wellbeing and works institutions of higher education and healthcare settings throughout the country to provide consultation and training on mental health in academia, healthcare, and corporate settings with a particular focus on mental health. |

Kelly Shedd, MPH
Kelly Shedd, MPH is the Program Manager of Co-Worker Experience at University of California, Irvine (UCI) Health. She has over 15 years of professional experience in worksite wellbeing within an academic setting. She worked at UCLA as the Program Director of Fitness and Wellness for over 10 years, overseeing all worksite wellbeing offerings through the Recreation department, including health improvement programs and their onsite teaching kitchen. In her role at UCI Health, Kelly coordinates all co-worker engagement and wellbeing resources, programs, and offerings to help support and improve the work experience throughout the employee lifecycle. She has also served as part of the University of California (UC) Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Coordinating Center for over 8 years, helping all UC campuses develop, launch, and sustain their own local CDC recognized DPP programs for UC faculty, staff, and community members. She is a certified Master DPP Lifestyle Coach, Personal Fitness Trainer, Health Coach, Fitness Nutrition specialist, and is also certified in Mental Health First Aid. |
